A trophy hunt at Buxton Ranch is an experience you won’t soon forget. Located near Meridian, Texas on the northern boundary of the Texas hill country, our 500+ acre, high fenced ranch provides our quests with a great chance of harvesting an Excalibur whitetail buck! Our hunts (up to three days) are all inclusive with professional guide, gourmet dining, and a fully stocked bar. Additionally, you may include your spouse or child as a guest on your hunt of a lifetime for no additional fee.

At Buxton Ranch, we hunt out of large 6’x8’ tower blinds that are equipped with heaters and office chairs to keep our hunters are as comfortable as possible. Our blinds overlook winter food plots and corn feeders which ensure that our hunters will see an ample amount of whitetail deer and other wildlife.

After a successful hunt, our guides will ensure that you have magazine quality photos of your memorable stay. Our deer cleaning facility includes a clean walk in cooler, posing and caping tables to ensure you are set up for the best mount possible. Our pricing is based on the Boone & Crockett gross scoring system. Our guides work closely with the hunter to estimate the scores of the bucks before the animal is harvested. We require a $2000 down payment at the time of booking. Your deposit is refundable if there is no chance at the desired score/price range that has been agreed upon prior to the hunt. However, if Buxton Ranch guides present an opportunity for a hunter to harvest a buck at the desired score/price range and the hunter does not take the chance, the hunter will forfeit the deposit.
